Our services
Alarm Maintenance provides a range of security solutions, tailored to the needs of individual clients. We are an approved installer and maintainer of intruder alarms as inspected and approved by the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board [SSAIB]. SSAIB regularly carries out inspections of installations and administrative procedures, ensuring that we are completing work to the correct standard.
Maintaining your systems
We don’t tie you into a maintenance contract, as we believe our quality of service and competitive prices should be the reason you stay with us.
Whether your intruder or fire alarm solution was purchased from Alarm Maintenance or another company, we offer servicing on an annual, six-monthly or quarterly basis as required by the relevant standard. Police response alarms are maintained on a six-monthly basis.
We provide a 24 hour call out service to all our customers and, whenever possible, to any other system that is experiencing problems.

Intruder alarms
- All systems are individually designed to suit your premises and needs.
- A range of high quality products chosen by us for their reliability and value for money.
- All systems designed, installed and maintained in accordance with British Standards .
- The type and quantity of detection devices and control equipment is agreed at the initial survey.
- Systems can be wired, wireless or a combination of both.
- Pet tolerant detection devices are available.
- Systems may be stand-alone bells-only or have full remote signalling to keyholders via Alarm Receiving Centre to keyholders & the Police or a nominated guarding company.
Fire alarms
- Comprise a main conventional or addressable hardwired control panel – depending on your premises size – plus appropriate numbers of sounders, detectors and call points.
- Equipment sourced from a vast range of manufacturers, providing the widest possible choice.
- All systems designed, installed and maintained in accordance with British Standards.
- Typical clients include hotels, guest house, houses of multiple occupation (HMO), shops, industrial units and domestic dwellings.
- Systems may have full remote signalling to keyholders, via Alarm Receiving Centre to keyholders & the Fire Brigade.
- Emergency Lighting installed to British Standards.
CCTV
- Predominantly implemented on commercial sites, although we do also provide a similar service to domestic clients.
- Range from a single camera/monitor unit to multi-plexed, multi-camera systems with fixed or full function pan, tilt, zoom dome and IP cameras.
- Recording units feature latest digital video recording systems for high quality image playback.
- Incidents downloadable to CD for replay on any PC.
- Latest cameras produce high quality colour image during daylight and automatically change to monochrome in poor light.
- Pitch darkness overcome with use of infrared lighting not visible to human eye.
- Remote viewing of recording systems.
- Cameras controlled via the internet or LAN.
Access control and door entry systems
- Offer a comprehensive range of systems to suit a wide variety of applications, from single door audio entry systems suitable for domestic dwellings and small business use to multiway audio and video entry systems for apartment blocks.
- Systems may be combined with digital or proximity access control, allowing authorised access by code or proximity token.
- Proximity access control systems can be networked and controlled via PC, enabling all doors of site to be controlled via one PC. This can then be used to create Fire Muster lists and detail personnel on site.
- All access systems are specifically designed to your personal requirements.
