Alarm Maintenance Operation Update

Alarm Maintenance Ltd is operating as normal. We are following the Government Guide lines throughout whilst conducting a Normal Service.

When an engineer comes to site to carry out a routine service or a fault call out, he will remain a safe distance from any client (from 7 foot = 2 Mtrs).

Alarm Maintenance Ltd Engineers will be wearing protective disposable gloves entering any premises and during the service / call out. We have been advised masks are not a requirement.

In addition, we have hand sanitizers and Alcohol based wipes in the Engineers vans which our engineers are vigilant about using.

The engineer can service / attend to the alarm without any direct contact with the client. The engineer is happy to carry out the service / fault whilst the client is in another room other than the room he may be in at any given time.

Any discussion required following the service ie any materials that may be required can be conducted in the same way.

Job Tickets, as long standing clients of Alarm Maintenance Ltd, we not requesting any clients to sign our Job Tickets to say we have been on site during this time of Covid 19.

The engineer will simply take a photo of the completed job ticket show validation of his presence on site.

Invoices – We are happy to invoice all clients for the servicing of the alarms and send this via email, please ensure we have your current email address by sending it to:

all fault calls / emergency call out to be paid for on the visit via Debit card or a bacs payment. Due to the restrictions on Banking we are currently unable to accept cheques.

We can only recommend that you keep your intruder / fire alarm serviced, but of course the decision is ultimately yours. You may need to speak to your insurance company if you decide not to have it serviced at this time.

Police systems: as yet we have not been made aware of any changes to the ACPO policy so six monthly services are required – or please do speak with your insurers.

Want the alarm serviced but don’t want to be at home:

Alarm Maintenance Ltd, are very fortunate to be a small company and our clients will know Mike Webber, Darren Waterfield and Tim Smith as they have serviced your systems for many years.

If any client feels that they do not wish to be at home during the service, you can just provide access and then our engineers can always call you if there is any parts required for the service and once they have completed so you may return to your home.

We hope all our loyal clients keep safe and we can get through these troubled times.
