The Data we hold

The record holds the following information:

• Contact numbers, landline, mobile(s)
• Email address
• Home address
• History of the system(s) at the site.

Email communication

• All emails are retained for reference purposes
• We operate a PC based diary and a paper diary

Processing your data

• Recording personal details of an authorised person requesting a site visit for the site of residence or another site they are responsible for.
• To complete job tickets relating the work carried out at the site.
• Accountancy
• Service Reminder via Postal service or email or by a telephone

Service reminders

• Please notify us in writing if you do not wish to have the service reminder sent to you.
• To request third parties assistant to recover unpaid balances.
• Employment of others to fulfil the requirements of the clients request and the sites systems
• To advise you of new equipment available.

Duration data stored

• We hold– personal data (contact name / contact numbers) until such time the client advises that they no longer work or reside at the site
• The personal details of that client will be deleted as requested
• The system(s) history remains indefinitely as a means of retaining the history of the system(s) installed as the site.

Clients rights to information

• One months notice is required to request information we hold regarding the personal details and site history.
• This information must be requested in writing
• Commercial Sites  Request by the  Companies Director or other senior personnel
• Domestic clients:  please request in writing

Safety of stored data       

• Software Measures have been taken to ensure your personal data remains secure.

Shared Data

• We share data with employees of Alarm Maintenance Ltd
• We share your data with the following organisations:
  • SSAIB for issuing a Compliance certificate of installation (intruder alarms)www.SSAIB.org
  • A local Constabulary* site details for a Police Response System
  • Central Station Monitoring* purpose of contacting you.
    ABOVE * only applies to Police Response,  Fire Brigade, central station monitored systems.
  • PaymentSense Debit card payment only
  • Accountancy purposes
  • Personal data not shared for any third party marketing.
  • Consultant(s) specifically required for certain manufactured systems
  • Debt recovery processing organisations
  • If our business is sold to another. Client details may be shared.
• All the data we store is within the EU.
